Ok this a long story here. C&G magazine contacted me to do some cover work for their magazine for the new Twisted Metal game, because Sony at the time didn't have the time to provide any assets. So I had to base all the artwork from the previous version of Twisted Metal. It was cool I was really happy with the piece, and C&G was cool with it. And I herd that Jaffe gave it a approval as well.
But somewhere along the lines Sony suddenly was able to come up the resources and decide to do everything internal.
Which was I've seen before with publishers. But what can you do.
I'm saddened that it wasn't used, but I was surprised they used a simular layout as the one I did. But I have in the end I have a nice piece and cool fanart.
And now able to post it (and I guess you can compare it to the other cover down the road)
Kind of like box buster movies these days, any tries to get a PG-13 minimum so it sells well. (I miss block busters that had a R rating) The original Die hard was fun, cursing and swearing. The new ones.. piss poor excuse of the original
But glad to hear Black was more geared to a older audience
But I'm sure looking at the graphics It's really rough to look at on a HD tv.
